This is our lerning session

This exercises consisted in learning more complicated ways of coding and doing harder  activities. This helped us improve the time we take for each exercise and made us be faster.

Here we can see, pictures of our class, listening to the explanation.

This is a screenshot of one of the exercises.

Here we see how a student explaining how to solve one of the exercises.

This is everything we were asked to do for this post. We hope you enjoyed it and found it useful. We will still be posting.

This Is Our Learning Session

Hello ,we are here to write  about our learning sessions doing “io” exercises and exercises 19 and 20 (.py)

hope you enjoy our path through this exercises

here are some pictures of our attended sessions:

Let’s talk about exercise 19.py

exercise 19 was pretty rough because at first we couldn’t solve a syntax error but after trying with other variables a few times we could manage to solve it

Now let’s talk about exercise 20.py

exercise 20 was very very tough, because it had lot’s of new comands that we didn’t knew so we did some research and solve it.

IO EXERCISE

let’s start with io exercise number 13

here is a viodeo about it

and here is a collage with screenshots :

Now io exercise number 14

At io exercise 14 we had somo serious problems because we couldn’t find a correct program to remove newlines from a file but we did some reseach and solved it

here is a video about it

here is a screenshot of it

thanks for reading hope to see you the next time

                   This is our learning session

This part of our work on learning how to programm,  we have to document each learning session during this part of the trimester. We are now learning other ways of how to programm like how and when to use different specific domains and differienciate them.

  • len
  • counter
  • seek

In the book of Learning Python the hard way we learned and worked on coding with:

  1. functions and variables
  2. functions and files

In the screenshot we did part of the excersise 20. In the phtograph one of our assigned exercises of coding requirements.
These are, on the left, the screenshot of  the exercise 20 complete and on the right, the photo another exercise of coding requirements.
These are, on the left, the screenshot of  the exercise 20 complete and on the right, the photo another exercise of coding requirements.

We also had to write different python programms, from reading first lines of a file to cobining each line from first file with the corresponding line in second file. Counting the frequency of words in a file and counting the number of lines in a text file.

This is our Learning Session

We are continuing our work in class during the session. We are progressing a lot. We already finished FIFTEEN activities. We invested our efords and it took us many hours until finished. We have been practising a lot , every class, and we learned a lot of things.  This last exercises have been more difficult than the others. In this last post we are going to talk about what we learned through this last activities.

Learning to code seemed like an impossibly task.  We first started learning to program we worked very structured. Now we have our task clear and understand everything better. We started doing creative solutions and thinking logically. What it was also difficult, was for us to learn the different functions. The name of the book was Learn Python The Hard Way, so it was pretty obvious that it was going to be hard to learn. The most difficult activities for us to do were the ones that we did the whole class together, since they required 16 students to do them.

In summery, it is very important for us to learn all these things like coding, since they are our tools for building a basic and solid knowledge for informatics.  Although it’s not very simple, and we still have a lot to learn, we are getting better. We expect to acomplish our goals satisfied so we can improve our skills and finish this year being whole experts at coding.

This is our learning session

Hello Everyone !!! Today we are going to talk  about the forth activity.

We began this work with dividing the class in grups of 4 members, and we use the book of phytton (the hard way) from pages 54 -77 to solve the activities , and we continued using Notepad and powershell to so the exercises .  This activities had much a lot more in common whith the activity number 2 but this had a higher degree of difficulty and we needed more time to solve them.

In the exercise number 19  we learned functions and variables, because those are not connected to the script.

(exercise 20)

(exercise 19)

(20 study drills)

(ex 17)

(ex 16)

In conclusion we learned a lil bitt more of how to use pyton and that is important but also working in group because we hae to help each other and distribute the work. We work more as a team to solve the exercises, but we also asked to members from other teams.

We begin our learning journey

Hello there!

Here we will upload some images and screenshots. This images/screenshots show the work we were doing for the last 3 weeks with python and our team members working.  We were doing exercises to learn more about python to be able to make two scripts with the following instructions.

-The first program should combine each line from first file with the corresponding line in second file.

-The second program program to remove newline characters from a file.

To complete activity number four, we had eight classes. Each class began with a demonstration about functions we might need to use in order to complete the exercices.

Activity 4 were five exercises (15-20), but we only needed to work on the study drills for the last two. In addition, we had to solve fourteen exercises with the entire class. Two screencasts of these exercises were required to complete the coding requirements. Here are some pictures and screenshots that show how we work in class.

Throughout the sessions, we helped our classmates and our classmates helped us. Once we understood what each exercise was about, we could solve them easily. The biggest inconvenient we continue to have is working from home. Aside from that, we found this activity easier than number one.

This is our learning session – Post Nr.3

Hi there, Edureader/Edubloger, today you are going to see how our learning sessions are. For that, we brought you some photos and screenshot from the classes we attended in the past few weeks.

(COLLAGE WITH 6 PHOTOS)

(Caption): Learning Python the old school way!

This is our learning session -Activity Nr. 4- Renata Nicolini, Enzo Sardanelli, Karl Hagen and Santiago Helguero

  • This is a collage of the work in class that we did for the last days. Some classes we were working with the collages and in others we were listening to what Anselmo said and worked on powershell.

  • This is a screenshot that shows our work in class. Some of the exercises of Python, screenshots and more.

Hi welcome to our blog we are Renata Nicolini, Enzo Sardanelli, Santiago Helguero and Karl Hagen. We are 15 years old and we study at Goethe school. This is our first year in the humanistic and also our first year using Powershell and Notepad! Today we are going to tell you what we were doing in the last classes, what we were working with and how we were doing the work.

For this work we had to change groups. At the beginning it was difficult because we did not know each other so much, but later we shared the work and we were able to do it. When we distributed the work we took into account what our activities were. For example Renata had to do the blog, Enzo a couple of study drills. Something that we found very funny and interesting was the idea of making collages to put all the photos we took. Also putting a caption down the collages and taking screenshots was an important part.We also were working with Python, Idle and the Study drills. We read learn Python in the hard way and we also learned how to use codes. Many of the group found this interesting, while others liked the idea of attaching the photos in the collage of the post.

To finish we wanted to tell you that we learned a lot that we did not know before, it seemed very interesting and we liked it a lot. Although at the beginning we had our difficulties we were able to solve them. We hope you liked our blog.
